Who am I?

In the context of creativity and design, I am an octopus.
I may not be the smartest, or the coolest, or the best looking.
But I've been told I'm weird and unique.
I eat, sleep and breathe in a sea of ideas, and dance my way around in a way the straight-forward thinkers envy.
My mind is in eight different places at once, trying to grab hold of any idea that may pass me.
It is very easy for me to get stuck on an idea, and once I am stuck it is very hard for me to let go.
I examine things using all of my senses, my nerves were built for that exact purpose.
I can blend into the scenery to appear as if I am nothing special, but then jump out and surprise you.

Who am I? I'm an octopi.
